The RP03 project involved the replacement of over 10 kilometres of DN900 water main from Ryde Pump Station to Wahroonga Reservoir in Sydney's northern suburbs, traversing heavily congested urban environments with thousands of existing utility interfaces.

Involvement

  • Provided comprehensive utility management, subject matter expertise, and digital engineering services during the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) Request for Tender process.
  • Created a detailed 12D utility model and utilities register capturing every known utility across the RP03 alignment.
  • Conducted utility risk assessments along the alignment, identifying critical interface points and potential impacts.
  • Informed and managed targeted utility site investigations in high-risk areas.
  • Managed and coordinated the survey scope, delivering data to tenderers to support design development and risk mitigation.
  • Maintained and continuously updated the 12D model and GIS platform throughout the ECI phase.
  • Consolidated all project-critical data including survey, geotechnical, proposed alignments, site compounds, and shutdown info into the GIS.

  • Conducted technical reviews of RFT submissions with a focus on utility-related risks and feasibility.
