Croí are currently engaged to provide Commercial and Finance, Delivery – Construction, Delivery – Technical and Connections, Operations and Commissioning (COC) services for the delivery phase of the Central West Oranan Renewable Zone. Professional services provided include:

• First REZ formally declared in NSW.
• Procurement completed and ACEREZ consortium (ACCIONA, COBRA, Endeavour Energy) appointed to design, build, finance, operate, and maintain the project for 35 years.
• Transmission route and infrastructure scope confirmed with 240 km of high-voltage lines, two energy hubs (Merotherie & Elong Elong), one switching station (Barigan Creek), and synchronous condensers.
• Network capacity increased from 3 GW to an initial 4.5 GW, with a pathway to 6 GW by 2038.
• Early works and site preparation underway mid-2025, including access tracks, geotechnical investigations, and preliminary civil works.

• Central West Orana will provide up to 6 GW of renewable generation by 2038, enough to power 1.8 million homes.
• It will enable 7.7 GW of wind, solar, and storage projects, supporting NSW’s transition away from coal-fired generation.
• Central West Orana will improve grid stability through synchronous condensers and modern high-voltage infrastructure.
• Boosts local infrastructure and services in towns like Dubbo, Mudgee, and Dunedoo.
