The Canberra Light Rail Stages 1, 2A & 2B projects have a combined project value of $1.3Bn, Canberra Light Rail Stage 1 is from Gungahlin to City which is 12 kilometres and 13 stations. Canberra Light Rail Stage 2A is from City to Commonwealth Ave which is 1.7 kilometres and 3 station and Early Works package – Raising Londen Circuit. Canberra Light Rail Stage 2B is from Commonwealth Avenue to Woden.

Involvement

Key Achievements
- Identification and successful delivery of the enabling and early utilities work across the project.
- Mitigating program risk by implementing design and construction strategies to minimise the impact of existing utilities.
- Successful management of the interface between the utility authorities and other stakeholders to ensure program and costs were met.
- Coordinated with Evo Energy and Icon Water to create custom interface technical specifications exclusively for the Light Rail Project.
- Provide technical advice to resolve the remaining elements of the design process and worked closely with the estimators to price the works. LRS2A design packages for utilities impacted including electrical (9), telecommunications (230), Icon Water (41).
- Developed Utilities Strategy Plan and other key inputs into the business case for Canberra Light Rail Stage 2B
